Megan Thee Stallion, who has been facing serious challenges for a long time, now has good news for her fans as she has officially come out on top in her courtroom battle against blogger Milagro Gramz.
The 30-year-old rapper, real name Megan Pete, sued Milagro (born Milagro Cooper) after the blogger repeatedly accused her of being “a paid surrogate” for Tory Lanez and pushed conspiracy theories around the 2020 shooting.
As per NBC News reports, a Florida federal panel of five men and four women ruled in Megan’s favour, awarding her $59,000 in damages.
The Mamushi singer, who took the stand in November, told the court that Milagro’s relentless posts took a serious toll on her mental health and career, admitting there was a point where she felt life “was not worth living”.
Her legal team argued that she also “churned out falsehoods” for engagement, including questioning Megan’s “mental status”, calling her an “angry Black woman”, and even circulating a deepfake p*rn video.
For the unversed, the rapper launched the lawsuit in October 2024, saying it was time to hold bloggers accountable for “years of harassment, cyber-bullying and misinformation”.
She also sought a permanent injunction to stop Milagro from sharing any intimate or manipulated images of her in the future.
Tory, meanwhile, is currently serving a ten-year prison sentence for shooting Megan.
After the ruling, Milagro reacted on X with a defiant message: “Countersuit gone go crazy.”
