JoJo Siwa reveals terrifying health crisis after sudden hospital dash

JoJo Siwa, known for her chart-topping hits, has saddened her fans with her latest health update.

The 22-year-old star has revealed she was rushed to hospital in “excruciating pain” after a cyst on her ovary suddenly burst only hours before she was due to hit the stage for a major Black Friday performance.

The Karma singer shared the terrifying ordeal in a TikTok video posted on Saturday, explaining she had been struggling with stomach pain for days but assumed it was nothing serious. 

Things took a dramatic turn when she returned to her hotel room at the Mall of America and suddenly began “blacking out” and feeling like she “couldn’t breathe”.

Describing the moment the pain escalated, JoJo said: “I tried lying down, but it got worse. 

I got in the bathtub thinking it would help, and it hit me 100 times harder. I knew I was about to pass out.”

Her mum, Jessalynn, raced to her room to help her get dressed before paramedics arrived. 

Despite her vitals showing up as normal, the Boomerang hitmaker agreed to be taken to hospital, where doctors finally discovered the cause, a burst ovarian cyst that was bleeding into her stomach.

Once given pain medication, she was soon “dancing in my hospital bed”, and doctors assured her the issue should resolve on its own. 

Determined not to disappoint fans, she headed straight back to the Mall of America and delivered her full show.

The singer thanked the “amazing” medical team for treating her quickly, saying she would return to hospital immediately if the pain flares up again.
