Stranger Things is all set to break several records after explosive volume of finale premiered on November 26, 2025.
However, HBO released new episodes of It: Welcome to Derry after its launch on October 26, 2025 which revolves around iconic Pennywise the clown.
Both series are focused on children and so HBO teased the Neflix original for seemingly not being scary enough.
The video opens with a terrifying face of Pennywise spinning followed by a series of clips from the project flipped, mimicking Stranger Things’ Upside Down.
A text on the video reads: “Scarier Things,” which raised eyebrows as fans root for their favourite show in the comment section.
Someone stated: “Omg the girls are fighting.”
One of the users gushed that the Duffer Brothers have “24 hours to respond” while another believes that it was a “very direct” hint.
A netizen pointed out that the clown “IT was actually mentioned in one of the new ST episodes.”
The four episodes of first volume scored a 94% IMDB rating after debuting at 87%.
The Netflix original is currently trending on the streaming platform after the part unveiled mind blowing plot twists.
After release, the streaming giant faced an outage due to huge fans’ influx.
