Cynthia Erivo has officially inaugurated the 2025 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The 38-year-old Wicked: For Good star was in New York City on Thursday, Nov. 27, for the parade's grand opening on Thanksgiving.

The Grammy Award-winning actress and singer-songwriter sang Feeling Good by Nina Simone as the parade began. The British songstress performed with just a piano backing her.

Feeling Good was first performed on stage in 1964 by Cy Grant and was later adapted by Nina Simone for her 1965 album I Put a Spell on You.

Due to Cynthia Erivo losing her voice, both Erivo and Ariana Grande skipped most press interviews at the November 17 N.Y.C. premiere of Wicked: For Good, with Universal Pictures confirming the situation beforehand.

The Stand Up artist donned a floor-length oxblood luxurious dress with a coat that looked perfect for the fall holiday.

She styled her signature accessory of a hat atop her head, with plenty of jewels and nail art that drew the audience's attention as she sang.

After her performance, Erivo had a conversation with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie regarding Wicked: For Good.

Notably, the star chatted about her newly released book Simply More: A Book for Anyone Who Has Been Told They're Too Much, a personal collection of reflections and life lessons by Cynthia Erivo.

She also teased her Thanksgiving plans as she would be resting after a busy year.
