Sir Elton John, who recently faced a devastating health issue opened up about the hope he clings on to during hard time.
The 78-year-old recently had an infection in his right eye, when he was in France which cause him to loose his eyesight.
In a candid conversation with Variety, the British singer revealed how hard the past couple of months has been for him as he recalled them as being “challenging”.
He revealed that his left eye doesn’t work great and he has gone completely blind from his right eye which has been very tough for him as he can’t see, watch, or read anything.
The songwriter stated about the situation he has been recalling as “devastating” that he has had incredible life so far and still have hope that everything will get better.
He gushed, “I’ve just gotta be patient that someday science will help me with this one. Once they help me with this one, I’ll be fine.”
He further continued as he compared the blind-sight with AIDS, “ You mustn’t give up hope, you must be stoic, you must be strong and you must always try and batter the door down to try and improve things.”
