However, the cast and mastermind Duffer Brothers were stopped at the special event to ask about the characters and their fate.
To everyone’s surprise, the creator seemingly hinted at the survival of fan-favourite Steve as he revealed: “I don’t think they’re going to be too unhappy.”
Other cast members in presence were asked to give a special message to admirers praying for them as Caleb McLaughlin admitted it will be a “rollercoaster.”
Meanwhile, Gaten Matarazzo expressed his gratitude for investing “all the time you’ve put in to it.” On the other hand, Noah Schnapp insisted that they are also praying “that no one dies.”
The fans are eager to witness the fate of Hawkins which is at the edge of destruction after Vecna killed teenagers to open three gates in the place.
The team will reunite for one last time to fight against the evil and help save their hometown from turning in to the Upside Down.
