Hulu is bringing Kim Kardashian back to the small screen with a second season of All’s Fair.

The legal drama, co-created and executive-produced by Ryan Murphy, was renewed just three weeks after its premiere, proving that strong viewership can outweigh critics’ harsh reviews.

Despite receiving overwhelmingly negative feedback, with some calling it the worst show of the year, All’s Fair launched with a bang.

In the three days following its Nov. 4 debut, the series amassed 3.2 million views worldwide, calculated by total viewing minutes divided by running time, marking Hulu’s strongest start for an original scripted series in three years.

Nielsen’s U.S. streaming ratings for the premiere week are expected in early December.

Kardashian stars as Allura Grant, a high-powered Los Angeles divorce lawyer known for securing major settlements for her female clients.

The ensemble cast also features Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close, adding star power to the legal drama.

Produced by 20th Television, All’s Fair has already proven its appeal with audiences, and Hulu is banking on another season to continue its winning streak, showing that sometimes the viewers’ vote matters more than the critics’.
