Kate Winslet shares her raw experience about being an actor and how specific movies took a toll on her health.
While opening up about her hard-working job, she expressed how actors often push themselves more than people realise.
The 50-year-old actress revealed how two specific films of her career made her both mentally and physically exhausted while shooting.
The Titanic actress revealed the names of those draining films to be Sense and Sensibility and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, while further revealing that she even “fainted” on both sets.
She spoke about Sense and Sensibility during its 25th anniversary where she shared her experience of collapsing during filming. She said Emma Thompson and Greg Wise helped her recover.
Kate explained the moment in detail. She said, “I’m fainting and getting hypothermia.
“Greg [is] shoving my feet into his armpits to warm [me] up. So I had Greg at one end and then I’ve got Emma at the other end going, ‘You’ll be all right. Give me a little bit of a rub,” she continued.
Winslet also recalled her experience of getting dizzy while filming her movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
She said the reason behind was her scene where she had to sit in hot water for more than three hours with Jim Carrey.
“I got out and I was like, ‘Can I have some water?’ and I fainted,” the Avatar actress revealed.
