Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo left a heartfelt note to their Wicked roles amid the release of the second adaptation.

The 32-year-old songstress, who portrayed Glinda while Erivo played Elphaba, took to their official Instagram accounts to pen their respective on-screen character journey.

Notably, the final sequel achieved launch, grossing $150 million in the US and Canada along with $226 million globally, setting a record for a Broadway musical adaptation.

The strategic casting and marketing helped end a nine-week box office slump.

The 7 Rings hitmaker captioned a collection of BTS of her character, "Thank you, my sweet Glinda, for everything, I will love you always …Wicked: For Good is out now."

Meanwhile, Erivo shared her feelings in the caption, "I could write you an essay, a poem, Shakespearean prose, to describe what this journey has meant to me, what lessons this time has taught me, bought me."

She added,"The truth is the numbers are too small and the words are not enough. So I’ll simply say this."

"Take my hand and walk with me to the end of this road paved with gold and hopefully, the things that I’ve found, might find you too."

The Widows star wrote,"Thank you for letting me be your Elphaba."

For the unversed, the first Wicked movie was released on November 22, 2024.

Its finale, Wicked: For Good, came out on November 21.
