Diane Keaton’s last days revealed

American acting royalty Diane Keaton’s last moments before her passing have been revealed.

The Godfather star was 79 when she died in Los Angeles on October 11.

While she has privately battled with health struggles all her life, a close friend of the actress has revealed what her last days were like.

The friend told Radar Online that her health “declined very suddenly”.

“She declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her. It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit”, the friend revealed.

The person also reported that “she had several battles with skin cancer in her life that required surgeries, but she kept her grim condition to herself and really wasn't seeing people in recent months”.

Diane was in her home when an emergency call was made to 911 at around 8am.

As per the source, the actress was surrounded by her family and children, Dexter and Duke.

“Diane was very private about her health.”, the source added.

Paramedics were dispatched to Diane’s California residence with the Los Angeles Fire Department citing “person down”.
