According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 29-year-old is in discussions about a potential collaboration for its live-action Gundam, a science fiction media franchise on giant robots, mecha, known as Mobile Suits.
The Recruit actor would join Sydney Sweeney if the deal is signed to lead the sci-fi feature, a project directed by Jim Mickle.

Gundam, the series, the original 1979 anime, Mobile Suit Gundam, is set in the Universal Century, a future where the Earth's population has largely relocated to vast space colonies, which eventually seek autonomy and launch a brutal war for independence against Earth's governing body.
The project is based on a character played by Sweeney. As per the sources, the actress is actively involved in casting her co-stars.
In the forthcoming, the two characters are star-crossed lovers serving opposing factions in a planetary war.
The company, Legendary, is working to cast the actor, as Noah Centineo is set to star in a Rambo prequel, Rambo 6: New Blood, which is to shoot early next year.
Notably, the actor is already filming a live-action movie adaptation of Street Fighter, distributed by Paramount, which is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16, 2026.
