Dolly Parton is bringing a lot of Tennessee sparkle to America’s highways as she prepares to launch Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop in 2026.
The 79-year-old country legend, known for her chart-topping hit tracks, has teamed up with the Travel Stop team to give their flagship Cornersville, Tennessee location a full Dolly-style makeover.
The revamped stop is set to open by summer 2026 and promises to be far more than a pit stop, offering travellers a warm, homely retreat infused with Dolly’s Southern charm.
Sharing her excitement, the 9 to 5 singer said she has spent most of her life travelling, often on a bus.
She added that years of stopping at diners, truck stops, and roadside cafés have taught her exactly what travellers look for on the road.
Finally, the songstress said her goal is to create a place that feels like home, no matter what kind of vehicle you’re driving.
Danny Nozell, CEO of CTK Enterprises and Dolly’s long-time manager, echoed her enthusiasm, saying the project will be about “recharging the spirit” as much as refuelling.
Dolly Parton has no children.
Islands in the Stream hitmaker has often mentioned that she and her husband, Carl Dean, decided not to have kids, allowing her to focus on her career and charitable work.
