Megan Thee Stallion broke down in court as she described the toll of a sexually explicit deepfake video that spread across social media.
She said she feels “defeated” and emotionally exhausted as the civil case against blogger Milagro Gramz moves forward.
Megan testified that the fake video deeply damaged her mental health.
She said Gramz pushed followers to watch it and used her platforms to attack, mock, and target her during and after Tory Lanez’s criminal trial.
In court, Megan said Gramz acted as a “mouthpiece”, "puppet" and a “paid surrogate” for the convicted Canadian rapper whose real name is Daystar Peterson.
Lanez was arrested for shooting the Body singer in the foot during a party in July 2020. He was found guilty and ordered to serve 10 years in August 2023.
Megan believes Gramz’s increasing online harassment and damaging content to smear her reputation, “created a space for a lot of people to come speak negatively about me.”
The lawsuit accuses Gramz of trying to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about her for the purpose of bullying and harassment.
