Bella Hadid dishes on suffering from medical anxiety

Bella Hadid is opening up about experiencing medical anxiety as she battles Lyme disease.

The Victoria’s Secret supermodel shared a health update on Friday, November 14, via two posts on Instagram.

Hadid, first diagnosed with the chronic neurological illness in 2013, reposted a slide from @chronicillnesshumor featuring a meme.

“When your chronic illness is chronic illness-ing and someone says ‘it's always something with you,’ like… yes… one might say the illness is… chronic,” the post read.

The 29-year-old model also reposted another post from influencer Alexandra Wildeson titled: “The Duality of Life with Chronic Illness.”

Under the post, Hadid wrote, “The medical anxiety is soooooo real. Thank you for putting every one of my thoughts and daily situations into one swipe. The truuuuuth! @alexandrawildeson.”

Hadid has been sharing updates on her fight with Lyme disease, a condition that has also affected her mother, Yolanda, and brother, Anwar.

Last month, she candidly discussed her experiences with anxiety in a post for World Mental Health Day.

"Something I've carried for many years is the weight of anxiety and depression," she revealed in the post.
