Prince William shared a video message extending his support for a noble cause.
The message was addressed to English broadcaster Sara Cox who is working hard to raise funds for a charitable mission.
The author is raising funds for Children in Need via the Great Northern Marathon Challenge.
William expressed his support for Sara in a video message which was shared on the BBC Radio 2 Instagram page.
The prince said “Sara, massive congratulations for what you are doing. You are so nearly there, just a little bit further.”
“I know the people of Pudsey will all come out and welcome you with huge open arms, big hugs…and hopefully, lots of your favourite crumpets. Keep going. You’ve done fantastically well, and the nation is so proud of you.”, he added.
Sara set off on the challenge on November 10 to raise money for the BBC charity.
The mission requires her to travel on foot through the areas of Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire.
Pudsey is a yellow bear, who is the mascot of BBC Children in Need, which has been working for more than half a century to help children across UK.
