Tate McRae, who rose to fame with her hit tracks, announced she is releasing a deluxe version of her album SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (Deluxe).
After the 22-year-old singer earned her first-ever Grammy nomination, Tate reportedly collaborated with a famous singer and rapper on her upcoming project.
It was reported that the Just Keep Watching singer will have SZA on-board on the deluxe record. This sent fans into a frenzy as one user gushed: “OMG?? I can’t wait.”
Another was shocked as they wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “GIRL DON’T PLAY RIGHT NOW… I WILL DIE PEACEFULLY IF THIS IS REAL OMG.”
An admirer applauded her for “ending tour with Wildest Dreams part in it and then go onto [collaborating] with" the five-time Grammy winner.
The Greedy crooner recently wrapped her Miss Possessive Tour which was in support of her album So Close to What (2025). The studio record came out in February 2025.
The musical journey marked a huge milestone for the songstress; however, a debate sparked after a video of her lip-syncing went viral.
It is to be noted that Tate is asthmatic and does acrobats for her audience, which can make it difficult for her to perform live. It was confirmed by her fans that she does sing live too.
The extension of the album is scheduled to drop on November 21, which will include “few more songs” that will officially mark an end to the “the SC2W era.”
