Jacinda Ardrern praises Prince William amid Andrew’s removal

Former Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardrern praised Prince William as the royal family deals with Andrew’s downfall.

After Andrew was stripped of his titles, William visited Brazil for an environmental activism focused trip to continue the royal family’s charitable work amid the crisis.

William was in the South American country for his Earthshot awards and the UN conference for climate change.

Jacinda, who is a trustee of William’s project, praised his work ethic and passion for the cause.

“He’s pretty consistent. It’s been, ‘How do we do more? How do we scale? How do we better support the finalists?’”, she said about William who spent the past few days in Brazil meeting with innovators, world leaders and young activists.

A palace source told People about William’s work for climate change and his time in Brazil saying “He’s leaving Rio with a renewed sense of optimism about what Earthshot can deliver. We’re seeing the impact Earthshot finalists are delivering. The momentum is really feeling unstoppable.”

The Earthshot Prize was awarded by the Prince of Wales in 2020 to fund creative solutions that can help repair the planet.

Every year, five winners receive grants to expand their projects to deal with environmental changes.
