Pluribus’s premise and producer, Vince Gillian, are already highly promising, but the show’s creator has given more insight into the upcoming show that shows just how well thought out the new series will be.

The Breaking Bad hit maker’s new science fiction drama taps the talent of a known collaborator, Rhea Seehorn, but it was not what he originally envisioned.

In an interview with Polygon, the Better Call Saul creator stated, “I started off almost 10 years ago with this vague idea about a male protagonist who everybody suddenly, inexplicably was very, very nice to.”

Vince then proceeded to explain the plot of the show, which is that a person is alienated because everyone around them wants to make them happy at any cost, meanwhile the protagonist seems disturbed and opposed to the idea.

“At about the same time, in the early seasons of Better Call Saul, I realized how much I love Rhea Seehorn, so I decided: Let's make it a female protagonist."

"I want to write this thing for Rhea. She deserves to be the star of her own show,” the producer added, of the change of heart.

Notably, Pluribus is set to come out on November 7th on Apple Tv, when people can take a deeper look into Vince’s unique idea, which he has put a lot of thought and effort in.

What does Pluribus mean?

Pluribus is Latin phrase, which translates to ‘Out of many, one.’
