Jennifer Lawrence opens up about helping Robert Pattinson as dad

Jennifer Lawrence, the Oscar-winning actress, reflected on how parenthood has deepened her connection and bond with co-star Robert Pattinson.

On Saturday, November 1, during the New York City premiere of Die My Love, Lawrence revealed to PEOPLE how she and Pattinson bonded on set like “any new parent.”

The duo bonded over their shared experiences of parenthood.

“Any new parent knows that the only thing you want to do is just look at pictures and show people pictures and videos of their kids, so that’s kind of what we did,” she told the outlet.

Since both Lawrence and Pattinson have newborns, the Silver Linings Playbook actress said she “got to really, like, download them on the apps and the delivery stuff.”

“I made myself indispensable to the two of them,” she added.

Earlier in the interview, the mother of two revealed that her own postpartum experience shaped her performance in Die My Love.

Lawrence shared that after facing postpartum anxiety with her second child, she gained a deeper understanding of motherhood, an insight that helped her authentically portray a struggling new mom on screen.

“I think that just added another layer,” she explained, referring to her postpartum experience and motherhood.
