Reese Witherspoon talks Jennifer Aniston’s bond with exes

Reese Witherspoon, the Oscar-winning actress, has revealed why Jennifer Aniston keeps in touch with her exes as she goes public with her new beau, Jim Curtis.

After the Friends actress went Instagram official with her hypnotist boyfriend on Sunday, November 2, Reese reflected on her longtime friendship with Aniston in an interview on Monday.

The Big Little Lies actress described Aniston as “really warm and welcoming,” noting that the Emmy-winning star doesn’t burn bridges with her past relationships, during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

“We’ve known each other so long and we are very different people,” she said. “She’s really warm and welcoming. She’s a big host. She’s very warm and friendly. I think I’m more nerdy.”

The duo, who co-star in the hit Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, played sisters in the American sitcom Friends and also maintain a close relationship off-screen.

Reese reflected on her longtime admiration for Aniston, praising her for staying open-hearted despite spending much of her life in the public eye.

“I used to be really rigid,” said the Legally Blonde star. “I think my edge has softened. Life does that to you. But Jen, I will say, I’ve known Jen 25 years, 26 years…”

Reese called Aniston “really lovely and nurturing and warm and friendly and kind,” adding that she has been through a lot.
