K-pop Demon Hunters star Rei Ami made an appearance as her character, Zoey, for Heidi Klum's 24th Annual Halloween Party.
Commenting on how many people have chosen to dress up as the characters from the viral film, she said, "Oh my god, it's everywhere, I can't get a break from it. And I'm not complaining, please!"
Showing off the intricate details of her getup, the rapper joked that it only took "like three hours" for her to get ready, "It wasn't bad."
"I really put my tailor through it. I sent my measurements in like a week ago. He has not slept,” she added.
The whole thing ended up coming together "in the span of 36 hours. I literally walked in earlier today for my fitting."
Ami admitted that she still has not managed to wrap her head around the success of the movie, "I can't and I still haven't. This is a cultural phenomenon."
"I'm so honored and in awe," she added, "and just truly humbled by the power of music and good art and how it can really, truly—it sounds so cliché—change the world. That's exactly what this film and this soundtrack did, and it brought so much hope and light into such a dim, grim world, and I feel really privileged to be a part of it."
About the possibility of a sequel, she remarked, "I'm waiting for the call, just like you! You're gonna find out when I do, so we'll chat then."
