Taylor Swift’s dancer during her performance of Lavender Haze at The Eras Tour, Jan Ravnik had gone viral online, and has now been recruited on Dancing with the Stars by Maks Chmerkovskiy.
The former pro appears to be quite frustrated with the show’s decision and did not mince words when talking about it.
In an episode of The Penthouse with Peta podcast, hosted by the alum’s wife, Peta Murgatroyd, the 45-year-old opened up about the 'Wicked Night' episode of the beloved show.
“There’s zero foundation, technique, quality, understanding of the partnership, Bro, I’m getting emotional. It is absurd, and this is unreal how blind we have to be, and God forbid say what’s obviously there,” Maks said of Jan.
The ballroom dance champion added that he has nothing against the 30-year-old, and although his wife was going easy on him, later pointed out the supposedly obvious about why he was hired.
“He's a Taylor Swift dancer. It's the obvious reason why he is hired,” Peta noted, later adding “hiring a non-ballroom dancer to teach ballroom dancing to a celebrity as a job is outrageous."
Notably, the married couple critiqued the foxtrot performed by the dancer and his partner Jen Affleck.
Yes, Maks has won the coveted Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars in 2014.
