Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, who is currently dazzling audiences with her Short n’ Sweet Tour, has once again become the talk of the town with her latest onstage stunt.
The 26-year-old superstar, known for her bold creativity and playful showmanship, surprised fans by performing a song while sitting on a toilet during her concert.
She kicked off the first night of her five-show run with her newest ballad, Sharpest Tool, a cheeky follow-up to her viral hit Please Please Please.
“I’m looking for an answer in between the lines / Lying to yourself if you think we’re fine,” she sang, surrounded by a stage setup that resembled a 1970s TV dream home blended with Barbie’s pink paradise, complete with a bathroom scene where she delivered her humorous performance.
The crowd, made up of young fans and their supportive mothers, joined along enthusiastically.
However, not everyone was amused. While many praised her originality, others questioned the bold choice. Comments flooded social media with mixed reactions:
One fan remarked, “Katy Perry’s influence is showing,” while another questioned, “Was the toilet bit really necessary?”
A third jokingly added, “Is this the Short n’ Sweet Tour or the Man’s Best Friend Tour?”
This isn’t the first time Sabrina has pulled a bold or unexpected move on stage.
Recently, she made headlines for her playful antics involving Joe Keery, Gigi Hadid, and Anne Hathaway.
During her recent performances, Sabrina Carpenter playfully “arrested” Joe, Gigi , and Anne on stage as part of a humorous skit.
The pop star jokingly handcuffed the celebrities in mock “love arrests,” that left both the audience and the stars laughing.
