Dakota Johnson claps back at criticism over her sheer dressing

Dakota Johnson is often spotted making rebellious and bold fashion choices on the red carpet, and netizens think the actress’s looks are sometimes “too sexy” for her.

In a recent cover story with Vogue Germany, Johnson was asked about her preference for haute couture designs, which have occasionally drawn criticism.

However, the actress remains unapologetic about her daring fashion choices.

“I really don’t care,” she said with defiance. “I’ve been able to wear some of the most beautiful dresses, and I feel beautiful in them, so I wear them.”

The Golden Globe-nominated actress also mentioned her mother, Melanie Griffith, who instilled self-confidence in her from a young age. Griffith has always been “very open about the topic of bodies.”

“She taught us how to take care of our bodies and love them, and that our bodies are beautiful,” Johnson explained. “And I think that’s something really important for a young girl because we’re constantly told that we’re not good enough.”

The Materialists star considers this one of her mother’s “greatest gifts,” as it helped her build a lifelong, healthy relationship with her body.
