US Election 2020: One Direction star Harry Styles backs Joe Biden

Joining in other Hollywood A-listers, British singer Harry Styles has also endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for the upcoming presidential election.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the One Direction star showed his support by sharing  Biden’s election campaign ad. “If I could vote in America, I’d vote with kindness,” he wrote while retweeting the clip shared by Joe Biden.

Fans of the Fine Line singer did not take long to approve his political endorsement as his tweet got over 1 million likes shortly and ‘Vote with kindness’ started trending on the bird-sharing app.

The campaign video, narrated by Brad Pitt, showed Biden meeting and greeting his supporters. It was captioned, “You deserve a president who will get up every single day and work to make your life better. If you elect me, that’s exactly what I’ll do.”

The British singer is just one of the many famous faces who have shown their support for Biden as the election draws closer. Styles, though, living in Los Angles is UK born and is not eligible to vote in the upcoming US Election.

Being a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement, Styles is not a fan of Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric as the president had dismissed the slogan and called it a ‘symbol of hate.’
