The Oscar-winning Nicole Kidman has no regrets after filing for divorce from ex-husband Keith Urban.
For now, the Moulin Rouge! lead is “surrounded by the two things that matter the most to her: her family and her work,” a source told PEOPLE.
After a trip to Europe, upon returning home to Nashville, Kidman is “keeping it positive,” the insider said. “She isn't someone who dwells on regrets, she believes everything happens for a reason.”
The former Hollywood power couple made headlines on September 29, when a source revealed that Kidman "has been fighting to save the marriage" even amid the pair's private separation in recent months.
Kidman finally filed for divorce from country musician Urban after 19 years of marriage on September 30, citing irreconcilable differences and listing the former couple's date of separation as the time of filing.
Kidman and Urban, who tied the knot in 2006, share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
As part of her divorce filing, Kidman requested to be the primary residential parent in their custody arrangement.
