News has it that at least five people in Mike Pence’s circle in the White House have tested positive for Covid-19, including chief of staff Marc Short, CNN reported.

Vice President Mike Pence and wife Karen Pence, however, have tested negative for the novel coronavirus.

The Vice President’s office on Saturday announced that Short had tested positive but did not reveal details of other officials. Sources in CNN, however, found that Marty Obst - senior political advisor to VP and Zach Beuer, his ‘bodyman’ are two of the affected five aides.

Despite recent exposure with people who have tested positive, the Vice President is not complying with the social distancing rules of CDC and have refused to quarantine.

Seems like the White House is not taking the pandemic that serious; courtesy the president Trump’s laid back approach of course!

Robert O’Brien, the National Security Advisor, however, dismissed the claims on Sunday and said, "The vice president is following all the rules from the CDC, and social distancing.”
