Supermodel Gigi Hadid is reflecting on her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 10 years ago with heartfelt emotion.
On Friday, October 10, the iconic lingerie brand announced via Instagram that Hadid will return to the legendary runway show in 2025.
The clip features Hadid looking back on her debut with the high-end fashion label in 2015.
“I think I tried out two or three times before I got it, so you can imagine how I felt when I got my first show,” she said.
The fashion icon teared up as she added, “I'm just so happy for her,” referring to her past self. “She just wanted it so bad… I look back at pictures from that time and the world was so hard on her, and not just me, it’s hard on girls.”
She continued, “And then you look back at pictures and you’re like, ‘I was the shit.’ That was an awesome time. I deserved to be there.”
“I continue to come back to this show just so happy for that girl who got the first show and also for my teenage self who just watched it,” she concluded.
