Adele breaks hearts by revealing about her 'unfinished album' in SNL debut

Saturday Night Live perhaps had one of the best appearances last night as pop sensation Adele, who swore in her monologue not to sing on the show, couldn't hold but spell magic with her soulful voice. However, the singer was also in for some bad news.

During her monologue on the show, the 32-year-old singer revealed that her upcoming album is still unfinished and fans were whining.

In the middle of her monologue, Adele said: “I know that that there has been a lot of chatter about me just being the host. I have seen all of it. Why isn't she the musical guest and stuff like that? There are a couple of reasons. My album is not finished.”

Twitter was soon flooded with reactions after Adele gave heartbreaking update about her coming album.

Earlier in June, Adele's manager Jonathan Dickins told Music Week, “We’re all in the same boat, you’re doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It’ll come when it’s ready. I can’t put a date on that yet. We have music, but we’re still working.”

Adele, during her appearance in the skit as herself a superstar on SNL, sang compilation into solo-with-pianist versions of her hits including “Hello,” “Set Fire to the Rain,” "Someone Like You" and others.
