The American singer has urged her supporters to vote in the upcoming US Election

Fan favourite Demi Lovato has urged her fans to vote in the US Election 2020. The American singer took to her Instagram to remind the followers about the upcoming election being right around the corner.

In an Instagram post shared on October 22, the Camp Rock actor said, “Friendly reminder that we have a couple weeks left to place our votes iwillvote.com” She shared the link to Voting Information Centre for official updates and resources about the US Election 2020.

She posted a picture of herself from her performance at Billboard Music Awards where she debuted her political song ‘Commander in Chief.’ The song was released earlier this month on October 14.


While many celebrities have voiced their opinions on President Trump, Lovato went a step ahead and wrote an entire song to publicly announce her views. The song has over 5 million views on Youtube already. The song focuses on the issues caused by the current United States government.

Lovato has not been shy about using her platforms to shed light on the importance of voting. She has been active on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram to encourage people to vote. She shared a link to iwillvote.com on Twitter saying, “iwillvote.com is a GREAT resource for all of your voter questions/needs You can check your voter registration, get registered to vote, and find your voting by mail/in person information.” She has then tweeted multiple reminders for people to submit their ballots.

Likewise, on October 21, Lovato posted a video to Instagram of her explaining what voter ballots may contain and a resource to find out more information on the topic.
