Victoria Justice and Laura Marano made a bold move among musicians who have taken the safe route with their music ahead of Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

On September 28, the 32-year-old actress posted a story on her Instagram revealing the release date of her new music, October 3.

Victoria simply captioned the story, “10.3.25” with a countdown marking four days to go.

Similarly, the Disney alum also posted a video last week announcing that she will be dropping another version of her EP You to celebrate the five-year anniversary on October 3.

Netizens noticed the bold move, which coincided with the pop queen’s release date, and took to the comments section to express their sentiments.

One fan wrote, “The bravest soldier out there.” Another follower penned, “Someone on her team hates her.”

However, this isn’t the first time the Victorious lead has dropped new tunes alongside the Grammy winner. In 2024, she released her single, Raw, on the same day Taylor dropped The Tortured Poets Department.

The news made headlines after over 41 musicians put out their albums before October 3, including Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, and Tate McRae, among others.

Which is the longest track on Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’?

The longest track on Taylor Swift’s upcoming album is Eldest Daughter, which has a duration of 4 minutes and 6 seconds.
