Dua Lipa, who is known for her chart-topping hit tracks, stunned the sold out crowd of her concert from the Radical Optimism tour.
Although the 30-year-old singer brought out several notable artists, Dua ensured to give a nod to her friend Ariana Grande.
On September 27, the IDGAF hitmaker took the Miami stage by heat with her cover of One Last Time, sending fans in to a frenzy.
The video instantly went viral on the internet, sparking reaction from netizens from around the world as one user noted that the songstress gave the track “her own vibe.”
Another admirer addressed the critics, “You just have to appreciate that she is talented,” while a user called it an “impressive performance.”
However, many Ariana fans were not happy with the singer as one criticised: “You don’t cover ariana’s song when you have a voice like that.”
Meanwhile, few speculated that this might be a hint at their upcoming collaboration as someone asked about any “duet incoming??”
In 2018, Ariana and Dua collaborated on a demo song Bad To You which was leaked but never officially released. It was later revealed that it didn’t align with the creative direction of their albums.
The song was revised but Dua’s vocals were removed from the new version.
