Camilla Luddington, who has just finished filming Grey’s Anatomy Season 22, worries about her character, Jo, in the upcoming season’s premiere.
Viewers know that Jo is physically safe for now, but on an emotional level, she will be seen struggling in the new episode after learning that an explosion went off at Grey Sloan Memorial, and her husband, Link (Chris Carmack), was potentially at the centre of it.
Speaking with Parade about her life as a mother and the show, Luddington apologised in advance before noting that fans should be stressed about the new season.
“Fans should be really stressed out for the premiere. I’m sorry!” she quipped. “For some premieres, I can say it’s really fun and juicy. For this one, it’s stress. I’m stressed filming it. I’m stressed watching it.”
The actress asserted that they were all nervous while filming and reading the script, and fans will know why when they watch it.
Luddington further teased that the tension won’t end with the premiere.
The fallout from the explosion will stretch across at least two episodes, so fans should brace themselves for things to spiral seriously out of control.
“It’s a really wild first two episodes. Both episodes in the beginning are really wild. We are about to start shooting Episode 3, so buckle up,” the actress said.
