Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty's bail plea is due to be heard before Bombay High Court today.

Earlier, the Narcotics Control Bureau had reportedly filed an affidavit against Sushant's girlfriend and his brother Showik's bail plea.

As per reports, NCB has stated in the affidavit that Rhea and Showik were active members of the drug nexus and were in link with high-profile peddlers.

In the affidavits filed in Bombay High Court, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede stated, "Electronic evidences such as WhatsApp chat, mobile, laptop, hard disk retrieved records indicate that payment was made for drugs.

"There is strong evidence to prove that Rhea was not only continuing to deal, but also financed the illegal smuggling of drugs."

The affidavit also stated that Rhea procured and hid drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and hid it in his house. According to the NCB, the petitioner (Rhea) aided drug delivery and provided gateway facilities for its payments via cash/cards.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB on 8 September on drug peddling charges. Since then, the actress is lodged in Byculla Jail in Mumbai.
