With many Bollywood's big names being linked to the drug case, star Deepika Padukone is one drawing all the attention of media. As per report, the Narcotics Control Burea (NCB) will begin with the interrogation of Deepika Padukone on Saturday in link to the drug abuse case.

Now, multiple media outlets are reporting that Deepika's husband and actor Ranveer Singh has sought NCB's permission to be with his wife during interrogation.

In his application to the investigation agency, the Gully Boy actor has said that Deepika sometimes gets nervous and has anxiety issues, therefore he wants to be by his wife's side during the investigation. However, there has been no reaction from NCB as of yet.

Earlier, Deepika had landed at Mumbai Airport from Goa on Thursday, where Ranveer himself came to pick up the Padmaavat star after receiving NCB summons.

Deepika Padukone was called in for the investigation on Friday but due to her Covid-19 test it was delayed to Saturday. Now the star will appear before NCB on Saturday.

Deepika's name was nominated in the drugs case after her WhatsApp chat with Karishma Prakash leaked out. In this, Deepika demanded Hashish from Karisma.
