Reality TV star Denise Richards had a run in with her former partner Aaron Phypers amid their divorce proceedings.
The Lost Hills Sheriff's Department responded to a call to his residence, however, upon investigating concluded that they “did not have any evidence that a crime occurred”, according to People.
Having a temporary restraining order against Phypers, her attorney Brett Berman said in a statement that she “did not violate a restraining order” by visiting her former husband’s property.
“On August 3, 2025, after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present in her home, Ms. Richards entered the home to retrieve her dogs after learning that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission,” claimed the attorney.
A source that spoke to the outlet said that this claim was “100 percent, absolutely false,” adding that Richards showed up at the property screaming and banging on the door.
On her reality show, she talked about her bizarre living situation, “I don't live in our house. Aaron's mom and dad and his brother, they were gonna stay for a few months; It's been over three years. I needed some space, so I rented a townhouse, and then I rented another one and another one. So I have three of them. One's an office, one's a studio, one's for Lola and Eloise and for us to sleep in. And then when Aaron and I want privacy, we sleep in the studio. So, we're all over the place.”
