Heidi Klum passes on modelling secrets to kids, Leni and Henry

Heidi Klum recently shared the advice she gave to her kids who have decided to follow in her footsteps.

The 52-year-old's eldest children, Leni, 20, and Henry, 19, have both pursued careers in modelling.

In conversation with Hello! magazine, the businesswoman revealed the tip she gave to her son and daughter, “I'm always reminding my kids to stand up straight, make yourself taller, be proud,” she said.

Klum added that she was shocked when Henry expressed his wish to be a model. “I always thought he was more into music, but he came to me and said he really wanted to give modelling a shot.”

The former Victoria's Secret angel mentioned that she teaches her children that it’s “ok to say no to things.” She stressed that they don’t have to do anything they don’t want to do.

Later in the interview, the supermodel proudly gushed about Leni’s career, saying her daughter is doing great and has landed contracts with luxury brands.

Notably, the actress shares Leni with her ex-husband, Flavio Briatore, who is not involved in co-parenting.

In 2004, she began dating Seal and they share three children, Henry, Johan and Lou.

The musician was present during Leni’s birth and in 2009 legally adopted her. However, the couple divorced in 2014 after seven years of marriage.

For the unversed, Heidi Klum is currently married to Tom Kaulitz, the guitarist of the German band Tokio Hotel.
