Zac Brown proposes to jewelry designer amid legal battle with wife

Country singer Zac Brown is officially engaged to well known jewelry designer Kendra Scott after filing for divorce from his ex-wife, Kelly Yazdi.

In a joint statement to People, the couple told the outlet, "We are so happy and grateful that we found each other."

Scott could be seen showing off her pink diamond engagement ring while the pair embraced on a pier with the sun setting behind them.

The morning after having revealed their engagement, the singer said he was feeling blessed prior to performing on the Today show.

"I feel great," the singer said. "I got her good."

When asked about the pressure of having to find the perfect ring for someone who designs them for a living, Brown remarked, "I know, right? What are you gonna get somebody that designs jewelry? But no, it's incredible, incredible. So happy. We're so happy we found each other and we're blessed. It just adds so much energy to everything else. More to give to music, more to give our families and everything. So we're blessed."

The two originally made their red carpet debut back in May, attending the 2025 American Music Awards, where his band had been nominated for favorite country duo or group.
