Blake Lively was the center of attention when she showed up on social media reels posted about her beauty routine.
The Another Simple Favor actress, who describe herself as “an old school devotee to hot rollers and mousse like my mama,” opened up about her passion for creating salon quality result at home.
Livley revealed that developing the right products for her line, Blake Brown Beauty, was a seven-year labor of love. “It was critical to me that people could achieve professional level result and volume, themselves, at home, and in a way that was clean, smelled amazing, and made you feel your very best in evert way,” she wrote.
While she proudly shared that her team “cracked every hair staple product except hairspray,” she teased fans with a possible new launch, “A year later…we may have surprise for you…very soon,” she hinted, adding a shushing emoji.
The post also detailed her step-by-step styling routine using the All in Wonder Leave-In Potion, Glam Mousse, and Dry Shampoo from @blakebrownbeauty, along with BaByliss Nano Hot Rollers and a Mason Pearson brush for teasing. For finishing touches, she reached for L’Oreal Paris Elnett Hairspray and a mix of high-end makeup brands, including Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel, and Pat McGrath.
According to Lively, her voluminous curls “don’t take much time” to achieve and can last for several days, softening into a glamorous blowout by day two or three.
Serious allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation are at the heart of Ms. Lively's federal lawsuit in the Southern District of New York.
