Astronomer CEO, HR chief's new video breaks the internet

Chris Martin, who is the lead vocalist and co-founder of Coldplay, allegedly exposed an affair between a couple during their concert. 

After the online community dug deep to identify them as the CEO Andy Byron and HR chief Kristin Cabot from Astronomer, another clip of the couple added fuel to the controversy.

According to TMZ, the pair was locking lips before being zoomed in and displayed on the jumbotron of the stadium.

The fan-filmed footage captured the two kissing while watching Chris play for a sold-out crowd in Boston.

Following their intimate moment, the couple were caught on the “kiss-cam” as they instantly parted ways and hid their faces, visibly embarrassed.

The CEO and HR became a viral meme overnight as they were accused of having an “affair” while being married to different people.

On Saturday morning, the tech giant decided to launch a probe into the situation which was announced in an official statement.

The notice highlighted that the board of directors has initiated a formal investigation, maintaining that “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event.”

While fake apologies from the CEO went viral, it was clearly mentioned in the statement that “Andy Byron has not put out any statement.”

It was later announced by Astronomer that the executive was “placed on leave” while co-founder Pete DeJoy was assigned the role of “interim CEO.”
