Lorde fans shocked by new album cover

Fans of the singer Lorde have just received her newest album, titled Virgin, however, some have been taken aback by photos included with the vinyl.

They detailed the photo including a shot of her private areas, visible through a pair of transparent pants.

"Lorde showing lorde**** on her vinyl. I'm seated," wrote a fan on X, “For anyone confused — I love this cover."

Her website does display warnings to those looking to buy that version of the album, saying "PARENTAL ADVISORY" along with a "ADULT IMAGES" warning.

A representative for the singer confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the image is of the singer herself.

This is her first full album since the release of Solar Power in 2021, which was a commercial loss for her.

However, the song What Was That from her new album is already quite successful, getting her her first top 40 hit in the United States after 8 years.

The last to achieve the feat was Green Light in 2017.

Lorde got people talking about her last year by featuring on Charli XCX’s Brat album through the song, Girl, So Confusing.

The track showed the two solving their unresolved issues and opening up about their insecurities.
