Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has joined the cast of the movie adaptation of the Street Fighter video game from Legendary Entertainment.
Others in the cast include Jason Momoa as Blanka, Noah Centineo as Ken and country singer Orville Peck as Vega.
Joe Anoa’i or Roman Reign and martial artist-actor Andrew Koji are also in the cast as Akuma and main character, Ryu.
Callina Liang will be taking on the part of beloved game character Chun-Li.
Jackson is set to take on the role of the villain’s bodyguard, Balrog, with the rapper already being deep into his preparation for the role.
"After years of training in multiple styles since childhood, two young martial arts prodigies have at long last established fighting styles entirely their own. Friends and rivals, the two warriors set out on a journey across the globe as they seek to stand at the apex of the martial arts world. Which of the two will conquer the street fighters of world-class strength and ability and claim the title of Strongest Man Alive?,” reads the synopsis of the game.
Plot details for the movie are being kept under wraps.
