Rebekah Del Rio’s fans are mourning the tragic death of the American singer and songwriter at the age of 57.

The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office has confirmed the demise of the songstress revealing that she died on Monday, June 23, 2025 at her residence in Los Angeles.

Rebekah rose to fame with her performance of Llorando in David Lynch’s 2001 film Mulholland Drive.

The Welcome to the Deadzone singer’s nephew also paid a heartfelt tribute on her death, writing: “Just found out my Tia Becky passed away and we literally just saw her on Father’s day.”

He added: “So grateful the kids got to hear her sing,” concluding his statement with, “Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift with the world Tia. We love you.”

Rebekah’s fans appeared heartbroken as one wrote, “No, please someone say this isn’t true. We have had enough loss here lately, please no more.”

Another expressed, “No, she was such a talented and beautiful singer. A wonderful addition to David Lynch’s universe,” while a third fan said, “It’s unbelievable too soon.”

Rebekah Del Rio was born on July 10, 1967 in California and she began performing in San Diego before moving to Los Angeles.
