Gunna is all the way back and open to experimenting with modern technology as he moves on from YSL Records.

The rapper has been relentlessly working on a new album for months now and keeping his loyal fans up to date with his progress through cryptic posts.

The 32-year-old recently gave an exclusive interview to UPROXX, where he revealed that his new album will be called The Last Wun.

The name is symbolic in more than one way because it is the follow-up to the 2024 album One of Wun.

The project is speculated to be his last album with Young Thug’s YSL Records as the friction between the two continues to widen.

This suggests that the Drip Too Hard hitmaker might need to find other artists for future collaborations and he seems to be open to trying something radical.

In the aforementioned interview, Gunna spoke about the possibility of working with Artificial Intelligence musicians.

“I'm not hands-on with it. I'm not against it; I'm gonna for sure tap into it, but I'm taking my time,” the singer told will.i.am, who is also an AI enthusiast.

The Georgia native predicted that by 2030, AI music would become mainstream and that the next few years will be “transformational.”

Gunna ended the conversation by saying, “I gotta sign me an AI artist, fast. Get with 'em, you can't beat 'em.”

Why did Young Thug call Gunna a snitch?

Following Young Thug’s arrest in May 2022, YSL member Gunna also turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued in his name.

Gunna was released in December 2022 after making a plea deal, causing some to believe that the Lemonade hitmaker had snitched on his affiliates.

The 32-year-old and his attorney have publicly denied informing against his YSL associates.
