Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have raised rumours of a bitter rivalry after an extremely awkward encounter on the red carpet.
During Monday night's European premiere of F1 The Movie, the actors were captured on camera.
A video that has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter) shows Brad, 61, and Tom, 62, greeting each other with an air of unease.
The Fight Club actor sported a forest green suit, cravat and shades, and approached Tom in front of paparazzi and opened his arms out at the last moment.
A very awkward moment resulted from the gesture, which seemed to request something in between a handshake and an embrace.
In contrast, the Mission Impossible lead donned a sleek, modern two piece in ash gray, and appeared uncertain of how to respond and stood clumsily, not reaching out to embrace his co-star.
In an embarrassing exchange, the two ended up clasping hands before bumping chests.
Before the stars put their arms around each other and stood side by side, Brad backed up a little.
