Charlie Puth reveals exciting career plans at Cannes Lions Festival

The We Don’t Talk Anymore hitmaker, Charlie Puth, attended the Cannes Lions Festival where he disclosed two different things he has been working on.

At the lavish party hosted by the music streaming giant Spotify, a star-studded guest list was in attendance, with the One Call Away singer giving a special performance.

During one point of the evening, Charlie stated, “I’m currently finishing my fourth record off of FaceTime right now.”

Charlie hinted at what to expect with the new album, noting, “I can’t wait for all of you to hear it. A lot of piano. A lot of piano.”

Elsewhere during the event, the three-time Billboard Award winner surprisingly revealed that he had also begun working on a Broadway musical.

"The Broadway world is very exciting. It's really different...It's a lot less instant gratification because it's a longer process than making an album,” Charlie disclosed, before adding, "I just like doing things I haven’t done before."

The pop star, who had gone viral for having perfect pitch, did not unveil any further details about his involvement in the theatre project.
