Genevieve Chenneour, who is known for her role in Bridgerton, bravely stood up for herself after facing an unprecedented situation.
The actress was visiting a coffee shop when an Algerian thief sneakily got his hands on her mobile that was on the table.
In a CCTV footage obtained by Daily Mail, Genevieve can be seen grabbing the robber’s collar along with her friend and pinning him to the wall nearby on February 8.
Previously, it was reported that the English actress was “left with concussion” after fighting Zocariah Boulares, who also threatened to cut Aled Jones’ head for a Rolex watch.
The now 18-year-old was pleaded guilty of committing robbery and keeping offensive weapon in his possession. He was ordered to serve time in detention centre.
Soon after setting free, the teen went on to commit series of crimes, including the mobile incident with Genevieve last February.
The culprit was found guilty of stealing the smartphone as he appeared at the Westminster Magistrates Court in May.
He now awaits his sentence which is scheduled to take place on June 17 in west London’s Isleworth Crown Court.
