Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm in ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’
British stage and screen actress Vanessa Kirby is debuting in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Kirby will reprise her role in upcoming MCU movies, including Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
The Fantastic Four is a titular team that will save their world from destruction as it faces the cosmic being Galactus.
The film premieres on July 25, 2025, alongside Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, Julia Garner, and Ralph Ineson.
@AvengersUpdated over on X shared an interview video of Kirby on the red carpet with her co-star, Pedro Pascal, where she expresses her emotions as she joins the MCU.
Kirby started by saying that the people at MCU have known each other for 20 years, have grown and worked together for the past two decades, and that they are just newbies.
“This is our establishing movie,” Kirby commented. “Now we’re joining them as a family. It is literally... it feels like one big family. It feels like a theatre company.” Pascal then added: “Their 20 years has nothing on our six months. Nothing.”
