Jennifer Lopez’s flawless look masks painful reality

Jennifer Lopez hosted the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday night, less than two weeks after sustaining a nasty facial injury.

In mid-May, the 55-year-old singer disclosed that she had hurt her nose while practising a very high-energy dance routine for the yearly event.

Dr. Jason Diamond, a well-known plastic surgeon, performed stitches for her because the cut was so deep.

A few weeks later, Lopez’s face seemed to be free of injuries as she walked the red carpet at the American Music Awards before hosting the show.

But a closer examination of the image showed the reality of the actress' apparently miraculous recovery.

However, to conceal her stitched-up nose, the Maid in Manhattan star's makeup team applied a bandage or piece of silicone scar tape that closely matched the star’s skin tone.

To achieve a smooth blend, her foundation was carefully applied around the bandage or tape that was placed across the bridge of her nose.

Lopez became well-known as an actress after playing singer Selena in the 1997 movie of the same name. She went on to become the highest-paid Latin actress after starring in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998).
