Birdman filmmaker, Alejandro G. Inarritu hinted at what his "wild" collaboration with Tom Cruise will entail at the Cannes Film Festival.
While attending the event, Inarritu, the four-time Academy Award-winning director of The Revenant, told The Hollywood Reporter that he recently completed filming in London for his upcoming film with Cruise, tentatively titled Judy.
"All I can say is that it's a terrible, outrageous comedy," Inarritu, 61, told the outlet about the upcoming movie, "It's crazy."
Amores Perros, the director's 2000s film, was being screened for the 25th time at Cannes. He continued, "It's lovely, humorous, and frightening. I don't want to say it again, but every movie should make you a little frightened. I know that people don't expect comedy from Tom or me, and making this movie was terrifying for me."
Tom Cruise started acting in the early 1980s, and his breakthrough performances were in Top Gun (1986) and Risky Business (1983).
